Something I Hope to Learn this Year...

Something I hope to learn this year is web design. Anything that has to do with being creative on microsoft or photoshop, whatever it is. I want to get better with my creativity.

Perception

The video shown to us about perception was cool. It shows that sometimes the appearence of a person is often judged by others. The perception you get about other people can lead you to believe they are a certain way that really can be contrary to whom they really are. Perceptions can be wrong and are not always right. Thats why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

        In the first nine weeks of school,  I am doing good. I have four A's and one B. I am happy with my grades and hope to keep it going.

About Me

I am 17 years old and I come from a family of 4 brothers. I have 2 beautiful nephews of whom I love to death..n one on its way.:) I go to S.S High School n ready to graduate!

For my research topic, I chose School Dress Code. I chose this topic because I think it would be cool to have school uniforms. They wouldn't be just any navy or kaki uniforms...I mean stylish and fashionable uniforms. We would be cool and in style!

My mother

                           My Mother Maricela

            My mother is the youngest of 9 siblings. When my mother was born, her mother later was diagnosed with cancer. My mom was only two years old when her mother died. My grandfather had another woman at the same time my grandmother was still alive, with more kids. So my mother was brought to live with him for a while along with  her other stepbrothers and stepsisters. She says she doesn't remember being mistreated, but she says she only felt like a stranger. So, my mother ended up living with her two eldest brothers and her two middle sisters. About five of my moms older brothers and sisters had already married and had a family of their own. So my mother along with her two other sisters relied on their brothers to bring money and food to the table. Basically after her mothers, her and her brothers and sisters were on their own. My mom would clean, cook, and wash for other people to earn some extra money to eat and be dressed. My mom only got to half way of middle school and then dropped out to work.  Thats how she spent most of her teen life, of course with a little free time to have some fun here and there. She met my dad when she was 15 and engaged a relationship with him. They married when my mom was 18 and had there first child at the age of 19. When my mom marrried my dad, she began to have stability for the first time ever in her life. My dad brought her to the United States of America and began a new life with her. From then on, she didn't have to worry about bringing food to the table nor being scarce in money. My mothers life changed with my dad and now we are a big happy family.
